Solicits deceased people

Southern Living, a magazines.com publication, continues to solicit my mother to renew her subscription. She passed away in December 2019. In prior years, they have been notified in writing and via email to no avail. As of today, it is not possible to contact them via their "Email Us" page since it won't recognize a valid mail address.

Criminals

Billed me $23 for a magazine I never ordered. Never had any dealings or any type of communication with this company. Criminal enterprise.

HORRIBLE

They took money and I should have had been getting my magazines but all they keep saying is they are coming in two weeks. This has been going on since January. Go directly to the magazine to order. These people do not back their orders. They say well the Publisher... and they do not return phone calls. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

Worthless website

I got directed to this website while trying to renew a subscription. No matter what I do I get directed to the first page of a search for a magazine and only the first page, never able to advance to the next page, even when I enter the name of the magazine. I will never waste my time on website again.
(This website wishes me to add proof of purchase which I will not do because I do not trust this website)

Unauthorized high charges

Suckered into 2.0 each for 4 mags, thought it was just these issues, they renewed eithout authorization, 70 dollars for 4 magazines I paid 8.0 originally

Nonexistent customer service, cannot access account

This company has changed. I used them previously and never had a problem. Now I cannot contact anyone. The contact form does not work, none of the links in the emails they send work, and you can only call during a small window on PST. I just want to cancel a subscription. Get your magazines elsewhere / not worth the hassle.

Beware of "free" magazines

I won a free subscription to 6 magazines of my choice, by completing a survey, only pay some low price for shipping. I gave my Pay Pal info. I was excited. Apparently, I. Missed the fine print. I was charged about $65 for these "free" magazines. I never called to cancel. A few months later, they pull $65 again for renewal of 4 of these magazines. I call to cancel, interact with an automated system and can't get a refund. Instead, I will get the magazines I just paid for and will not be charged in the future. Rip off!

*Update* I called Magazine Service Center/Synapse at *******721 and within seconds the rep canceled my subscription and issed a refund. I got the refund within a couple of days. I uograded the review from one star to two for that reason.

Playing games aweful company

Ordered a magazine and never received it.
I ordered this magazine in November contacted them a week ago 02-11-2021 they said give it a few days we contacted the magazine to see whats wrong.
Few days later get a email we are still working to see where your magazine is, i wrote back maybe if the cant answer you within a week maybe i should cancel that's not good business practice they said give a few days today 2-23-2021 i get a email we are working to get your subscription filled. Wait what?
You are telling me i ordered this in November and they have not even filled it yet?
I wrote back told them they were a sham and never put my order through and return my money now not in a month or two weeks NOW.
They are worthless and should not be trusted.

Beware! Rip-off and Dishonest service

I received a promotional offer and purchased 4 magazines (12 month subscriptions) last October. When I noticed the renewal charges on my PayPal account, I called Dec 1 to cancel the subscriptions. Each one was over $20 each. They are only giving me a $42.50 refund because they said the $84.78 charge was for a 6 month subscription! I told them their charges were double the cost of each yearly subscription. Representative said that's what the publishers charge them. Liar! I could understand charging a small amount for the November issues they may have sent me, but half the amount?
Don't waste your money or time with this company. Purchase directly from the publisher of whatever magazine you choose rather than this company. Thumbs down for Mags.com!

It's impossible to talk to a real person. I have called morning and afternoon, sat on hold and was finally told they weren't working today please leave a message. No one has ever returned my call.
